Chung-Kun WANG

Born in Kaohsiung in 1982. Work across the area of sound, sculpture, video, kinetic art and sound installation.
He received the First Prize in Live Performance in Digital Art Awards, Taipei, 2006.
In 2007, Chung-Kun Wang has developed a link between sound and sculpture. His new work ‘sound.of.bottles’ in the project named ‘Big Bang' – 100 reasons to make sound had its first performance in Lacking Sound Festival in Taipei, later on its second showing in 2pi Festival in Hangzhou,China. After these performances attracted much attention, he had new nicknames like ‘Frankenstein’, ‘Physicist’ or ‘Edison’.
Chung-Kun Wang now lives and works in Taipei.
